Even though a big budget superhero movie is far from the usual topics of concern at this blog, must note the overwhelmingly positive reviews that have been rolling out for the upcoming epic The Avengers.  And as a former comic book geek, I am excited to hear that the movie was well made.  Here's one such positive review at /Film .  From the review:   "The Avengers not only makes that fanboy fantasy a reality, the high-octane superhero extravaganza delivers on almost every level with well-rounded characters, plenty of humor and  jaw-dropping action. A few things do get left out in the wake of all that excitement but odds are you won’t really care.
